READ's founder Noha Moustafa

Noha Moustafa

Founder

Noha is an attorney based out of Washington D.C. with extensive experience in refugee resettlement and asylum cases. She began her career at the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom where she worked on government enforcement and white-collar matters. Noha has had a long-standing interest in human rights policy in the Middle East and has spent a significant amount of time working and volunteering in the region, specifically with victims of torture and detention. She has also worked with the International Refugee Assistance Project in Amman, Jordan as a full-time volunteer attorney where she interviewed refugees in particularly vulnerable situations and assisted with processing their family reunification applications under the U.S. Refugee Admissions program.

Noha is currently an attorney at Google working on cybercrime and international data disclosure issues and maintains a robust pro bono practice in the refugee and asylum space. She holds a BA in Human Rights & Political Science and a JD from the University of Michigan.

Brianna Hendricks

Executive Director

Brianna Hendricks is a passionate and driven professional with a diverse background in administration, education, and technology. She is a wife and working mother of three who values education, personal and professional development, and community service.

Brianna earned her BA in Business Management from Brigham Young University-Idaho. She began her career in medical administration, where she worked for several years. She then joined a startup that helped Puerto Rican citizens gain proper education and career opportunities within the United States. In her current role, she works in legal operations at Google to resolve international data disclosure issues.

In her free time, Brianna enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering in her community, and mentoring friends and colleagues helping them improve their professional careers.
